Family and Birch Aquarium at Scripps
Day 2 of our Spring break we met up with my niece Camille, her husband Jared, and their very cute family of 4 girls and 1 boy. We don't get to see them often at all, but we plan on fixing that. I can't believe that my kids don't know all their cousins on my side of the family. Of course, most of these cousins are grown and have families of their own.
Anyhoo, we agreed to meet at a park at the beach, but the weather turned cruel and was threatening to blow off what few hairs I have left on my head!! We opted for this athletic park where Dan and the kids played ball and the rest of us sat in the shelter of the bleachers and caught up on old times.

NEXT...it was on to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography.This is one of Rachel's favorite places, so we try to make a stop every few years or so.

We ended up the day by going to Grandmas house for dinner and so Dan could work on her taxes and the girls could hang with more cousins! Fun day! I'm tired now and have a headache, so, bye. Day 3 will be along soon.
